Gaumukh Kund is a water Reservoir located inside the Chittorgarh Fort. Rana Kumbha Palace is one of the oldest historical monument in Chittorgarh, which was built in the 734 AD by Bappa Rawal and later rebuilt by Maharana Kumbha. At this palace, Rana Kumbha lived and spent his royal life, who was the king of Mewar from 1433 to 1468 AD. Situated very near to Kumbha Palace, Vijay Stambha is popularly known as a victory tower. Located in the middle of Chittorgarh Fort, it is a piece of resistance of Chittorgarh. It was built by Maharana Kumbha in 1448 AD to celebrate his victory over Mohamed Khilji. Having a height of 37 m, it is s a 9 story tower adorned with sculptures of Hindu deities.
